New Videos From Beck and She & Him

Back in the last week of June we asked our readers to list off some of their favorite albums that have been released through the first half of 2008.  We got a number of responses but no real consensus.  A couple of albums received multiple mentions, among them:  Plants and Animals, Vampire Weekend, The Silver Jews, and Stephen Malkmus.  If you haven’t added your picks for the Best of 2008 from January thru June, you can do so by clicking here.

And now that we’ve moved into the second half of the year, one of the highly anticipated new albums of 2008 Part 2 has been Beck’s latest effort Modern Guilt, which just hit stores this past Tuesday.  The official video for the second single off the album, “Gamma Ray” also debuted earlier this week and we’ve got that one after the break as well.  Hope you guys enjoy the latest sights and sounds from some of the best 2008 has to offer.
