Yeah…I know it’s late, but someone wiser than I once said better late than never. So with that in mind let’s get hoppin’. We begin with one for the kids (in both age and in heart): The Candyapolis Revue is at the Gravity Lounge on Saturday afternoon featuring Keith Morris and a rather large bunny (for starters).

Here’s the official word from the Mayor himself:
“Straight from the nation-state of Candyapolis–where angels sing and children dream–The Candyapolis Revue features music from the CD, Songs From Candyapolis, and a cast of strange and compelling characters, including Prunella Killjoy (the self-appointed “Keeper of the Silence” at the Gravity Lounge), Clarence the Bunny (Prunella’s chief foil and the mayor’s pookah), Lonesome Blinky McGee (a singing cowboy with a blinking
problem), and an enchanting lullaby dance by the fabled Anabel of “Anabel Says.” Proceedings will be led by The Mayor of Candyapolis and The Duchess of Lovingston, with full band! For kids (and adults too, actually.)”
The Candyapolis Revue hits the stage Saturday at 3pm at the Gravity Lounge. $5. For the rest of your Labor Weekend events….just keep on reading!
