I’ve got a friend/His name is Boober/He loves the music/His ears are super.
He hears a song/He writes it down/He shares his list/When I come to town.
So much music/So little time/Our four ears/Beat the two of mine.
So here’s a band/In scribbled ink/That Boober found/What do you think?

Why I chose to write this as an elementary school poetry assignment I do not know…there are no apologies forthcoming though for the verse
Now that I think of it I think I had this in my head at the time:
i know a girl who thinks of ghosts
she’ll make ya breakfast
she’ll make ya toast
she don’t use butter
she don’t use cheese
she don’t use jelly
or any of these
she uses vaseline
