The Song of the Day, 04/15

Well we haven’t had an animated video for the Song of the Day in awhile, so let’s see if we can’t change that.  This little number I’ve picked out is just superb in my humble opinion.  I hope you enjoy it.  It’s the Squirrel Nut Zippers with “The Ghost of Stephen Foster“.

    I love the Zippers! Saw them play in Carrboro, NC, in ‘96 or ‘97. They put on one helluva show!

    random factoid: Jim Mathus’ 1st band was called Johnny Vomit and the Dry Heaves. Pleasant, no?
